A brief update on my debut horror novel – The Log House

First things first – my debut novel, The Log House, was officially fully funded in December 2016. That means it's official. The novel will happen, and that is all because of you. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Since then, I have been working with many fantastic editors and proofreaders to get The Log House ready for you. It's taken some time to get where we are, but I am beyond thrilled with the final result and I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

We are now at the pre-press stage, which means typesetting, collecting names from the wonderful people who have pledged for the novel and COVERS.

My publisher, Unbound, work with a fantastic company (Mecob) for their cover designs, and yesterday I got to discuss The Log House and my ideas with them. Mecob have designed covers for many fantastic authors, including Iain Banks, and I am so excited to see what they come up with I may explode.

I hope to share the results with you soon, but for now you can still pledge for The Log House and get your name in the book. The Log House is a character driven horror novel that sees Penny forced to fight for her survival when she is abandoned in a forest overrun with monsters.

Thank you all again, you creepy people you.
